Planning: Design & Permits

You MUST choose your resources and teams wisely; Mistakes will cost you. This phase is critical to the success of your project. Hiring the wrong architect and/or design team can cost you months of lost time in permit delays due to minor discrepancies on plans, money, and you’ll even run the risk of having to fire and hire a new team. We provide you with the guidance you need for making confident choices to developing your team. Remember, planning sets the tone for your entire project.

Construction: Start To Finish

What would happen if you find yourself lost in the process? You could find yourself wasting valuable time, sacrificing your personal life, and falling behind on other responsibilities and We will cover everything from site preparation and foundation installation, all the way to final completion of your ADU, detailing out the correct order of operations. Our guide is the most comprehensive step by step instruction manual available!

  • The guide includes budget allocations in the form of ballpark percentages that you should expect to spend in each area of the project, for example. Interior design: 5% of project budget. It does not say how much an ADU will cost, as this is a subjective to each persons wants and needs, as well and their level of skill to self perform portions of the project.

  • The guide does not currently include how to videos; however, we plan to do this in the future and when that happens, the price will increase. If you purchase before then, you will have access to the additional content for free.
